About Us

Kelleen is a birth doula, postpartum doula, and placenta encapsulation specialist serving the Northwest Indiana area since 2017. During the pregnancy of her first daughter, she became fascinated by all things pregnancy, birth, and baby related. Once she was able to experience labor and delivery herself, she knew she was meant to help others through this incredible journey. That calling was reinforced during her second delivery, where she felt so comforted by the presence of her doula, that it cemented in the belief that every woman should have access to doula care, regardless of their birth choices. Kelleen feels strongly about evidence based care and informed consent.  It is a passion of hers to supply a variety of information to her clients so they can feel informed and empowered with every decision they make during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum process. Kelleen also holds a unique set of knowledge and experience in early childhood development that she cultivated over the 8 years that she worked as an elementary school teacher. In her free time, Kelleen enjoys reading, watching reality tv, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Megan’s passion for birth ignited when she became a mother. The more she learned about childbirth, the more intrigued she became which led to her journey of becoming a doula. Knowing how challenging and empowering birth can be, Megan felt inspired to help families during their transition into parenthood. She believes birth is one of the most important life experiences a person can have. Her goal is to give mothers the births they want - however they define it - by providing them evidence based information along with the emotional support that is essential. Her hopes are that mothers are able to look back at their births feeling confident in the decisions they made for themselves and their babies. In Megan’s free time she enjoys cooking, her new favorite hobby has been making sourdough bread, and she enjoys exploring the nature preserves & trails in the area with her husband and 3 kids.

Laine became interested in birth when her sister Kelleen had her first daughter in 2016 and asked her to photograph it. It was such a beautiful experience. She knew it interested her, but didn’t realize how much, until one of her best friends recently became pregnant. Since then, she has been researching like crazy and can't get enough! She had her first daughter in June of 2024 and had hurdles of her own (including a 40 hour labor!). She would have never been able to do it without her doula (Kelleen) and her birth team. Ever since then, she has wanted to help other moms in their journey of motherhood however she can. She is currently enrolled in the course to become doula certified herself to be Kelleens back up, help moms prenatally and in postpartum, and advance her knowledge to educate others through social media. In her "free" time (who really has that with children) she enjoys crafting, reading, spending time in nature, and being a stay at home mom and wife!
